My dream to inspire and ignite curiosity propelled me to make one of the hardest and most critical decisions of my life. And, TODAY, I thank YOU!
When I closed down my classroom in June 2018, I knew in my heart and soul something BIGGER was meant for me, but I truly had no idea which direction I would venture.
*To share a glimpse into my past journey, while I signed on in the "traditional" educator field, I rarely wore the hat. My approach to teaching, learning, exploring, and discovering was always led by the learners' voice. Intertwining the elevated voices provided by each learner propelled me to design new and purposeful experiences for each school year family. My belief that authentic and accessible learning is achieved when venturing beyond the walls of a school building, one of my greatest legacies thus far!
I shed a light on my past chapter because never would I have highlighted or celebrated ME ~ my thinking, my approach, my authenticity! When I launched Developing Empathetic Education with Dana (DEED)® December 16, 2019, I knew I was home. Being a founder and owner of a business is magic, and bringing my purpose and passion to life magnified my decision exponentially!
Cultivating a space that is accessible and inclusive for all to gather and feel a rich sense of belonging fuels my choices, ideas, programs, and collaborations.
By choosing the unthinkable, i.e. leaving a traditional job, I have been invited to show you the thinkable! Each intentional opportunity offers me space to design life changing programs, implement experiences for you, your children, and your community, and gift you actionable tools to continue thriving beyond our time together!
Over the past two years I've dropped the phrase "fake it 'til you make it." Instead, I choose to authentically LIVE, BREATHE, AND THRIVE what I teach, facilitate, model, and mentor past, current, and future students and clients.
Today, I courageously AND joyfully share . . .

**Fun Fact: Living curiously provides infinite space for connection and discovery, preventing judgement and (un)conscious biases from forming. Our brain is unable to live in a state of curiosity while judging (*the self or others).
