IT'S BEEN A YEAR!

DEED celebrated its FIRST ANNIVERSARY with all of your support, love, and encouragement!

Launching my business in the middle of a pandemic seemed ludicrous to some, but each of you stood by me and cheered louder than the next! I heard your voices, felt your trust, and know my purpose is to empower and provide community as we continue to socially gather while being physically distant.

DEED moved from in person parent workshops, 1:1 tutoring, professional development, and community partnerships to completely virtual within our first quarter. You, your children, and our community invited DEED to support youth and adults nationally and internationally. YOU are the reason Developing Empathetic Education with Dana (DEED) continues to grow, connecting children and adults by fostering positive risk taking during uncertain times.

As we embrace the remaining days of 2020, please celebrate YOU and all you have accomplished over the year! Together, we are shifting the paradigm, having the hard conversations, and most critically, hearing, seeing, and honoring the power within each of us!

DEED is bringing extraordinary youth and adult workshops, professional development, and endless opportunities for ALL of us as we leap into 2021! Stay tuned for updates!

With an overflowing heart, THANK YOU! Wishing all of you love, laughter, happiness, and health. Elated to see all of you in 2021!

Love,
Dana

WHAT THE LEARNERS ARE SAYING ABOUT DEED!

Ms. Dana is the best teacher ever! She wants all her kids to do well and reach their highest potential. She is the most encouraging person I know! Whenever I felt afraid, she made me feel brave. Whenever I felt like I couldn't do something, she made me feel like I could. Whenever I felt shy, she made me realize I could shine. Thanks to her, I have been successful in my later grades. She gave me confidence in my ideas and thoughts that I do not feel scared to share them with others. I don't know where I would be without her. Because of her, I know I can do anything I put my mind to. She will always be very special to me. I'm very lucky I had her as a teacher, and I am so thankful for her! She is the best!!!
